In principle, you have a piece of Brol for life, but the actual lifespan is largely up to you. Not only will it last longer if you take good care of it, but even after heavy damage it can still have a lot of value. On this page you will find all sorts of tips & tricks to keep your knitted items in good condition as long as possible. Small hole, loose thread ... You will be able to find these here too in the near future. In any case, keep the piece of yarn that you received with your order, you never know when it will come in handy!
Start with these maintenance tips to get your BROL safely through its first winter:
Wash your Turd as little as possible. Taking it outside to air it out often works wonders. Still in need of a thorough cleaning? Carefully wash your Brol by hand in lukewarm water and wool detergent. Soak for a while and push out as much water as possible without wringing. Let dry flat and avoid full sun.
Seasonal change? Store all your Brol flat, in a cotton bag or sealed box, possibly accompanied by a piece of cedar or soap, to keep off hungry moths.
